What happens if…? Notices and channels

Quick answers about customer notices, quiet hours, sending limits, spam and channel pauses.

Updated:

What happens with the messages that go out and come in through your channels, and where you see it.

Recommended rules are installed off. No rule writes to a customer until you turn it on with its switch in Automation → Rules. Each rule shows its latest sends with the status and the reason if one failed.

What happens if a notice would go out at night?

Between 21:00 and 08:00 (business time) nothing goes out to customers: the send is deferred to the morning, not lost. Before sending, the system checks the task again: if it was cancelled or rescheduled, the old notice is discarded.

What happens if I send many notices at once?

There is a limit of 30 automatic sends per hour per project. The extra ones are spread out on their own to protect the WhatsApp line.

What happens if a customer asked not to receive promotions?

Turn on Do not send automatic promotional messages on their profile. That stops promotions such as reactivation, but appointment reminders still go out, because they are operational.

What happens if I edit a task several times in a row?

If the changed-data notice is on, consecutive edits are grouped and the customer gets a single notice 60 seconds after the last one. Per-service notices start off and you set them in Settings → Customer notices, where you also see the log of what was sent and what was skipped.

What happens if a contact sends too many messages?

If one contact sends more than 15 messages in 5 minutes (or 60 in an hour), the bot stops answering them for 30 minutes. Messages still reach the Inbox, flagged as possible spam, and you can tap Reactivate bot early.

What happens if the AI spends too much at once?

If the project exceeds 300 AI calls in 10 minutes, the AI pauses on its own and we notify you. It does not resume on its own, because it could be a loop or an attack: you resume it in Settings → AI usage once you checked what happened.

What is the difference between pausing the bot and pausing the channel?

Pause bot keeps the messages and leaves them in the Inbox to handle by hand, with no AI spend. Pause channel discards everything that arrives, meant for spam or abuse. See Pauses and Status.

What if Instagram’s window expires or the task already has twenty tags?

After 24 hours from the customer’s last message, including expiry during sending, the notice tries another usable channel for that customer. Without an alternative, Could not notify appears in Today’s attention and the notice log; its extra marker preserves the twenty business tags. The team removes it after contacting the customer themselves. YES/NO reconfirmations keep their channel; review requests are cancelled without marking the task. The business cannot start a cold Instagram conversation.

Does disconnecting Instagram delete customer data?

Only the owner connects or disconnects, authorizing in the same browser and project. Disconnecting releases the account and preserves history; it does not delete data. Revocation is detected when sending, checking or renewing. Deletion by callback remains pending; follow the privacy instructions.

What if I change the team group or it becomes a supergroup?

Unassigned tasks are reposted in the new group and old buttons say this group is no longer linked, without assigning. Available tasks from before the first link are also offered. Assigned, closed, test or unauthorized tasks are excluded. Manage it in Team → Access. Telegram cannot guarantee avoiding a duplicate post if the connection drops immediately after sending.
