What you call things

Rename Service, Task, Resource and Customer with your business's own words and use them across the dashboard, the bot, notifications and operational emails.

Updated:

Fiuit talks about the service, the task, the resource and the customer. If your business calls those things something else —product and order, professional and patient— you can use your own words. The dashboard, the bot's messages, notifications and operational emails use them, with correct agreement.

Changing the names, step by step

  1. Go to Settings → What you call things (owner or project admins only).
  2. Pick a starting point or type each name by hand. For each concept, set the singular, the plural and the gender, in lowercase.
  3. You edit per language: the names you write in English are used in English messages, and likewise for Spanish and Portuguese.
  4. Save. Settings applies everything together in one batch: Save confirms the names along with the rest of the page's changes and Discard restores the previous values.

Changes show up right away in the menu, buttons, screens, bot messages and notifications, for the whole team.

What does not change

  • Only the name changes. Your data, bookings, permissions and statistics stay the same: a task is still a task even if the screen says "order".
  • Texts written by people (notes, replies, comments) are untouched.
  • To go back, restore the default names in the same section and save.

Real names —of customers, services or resources— and numbers are never translated: the vocabulary changes how Fiuit calls the concepts, not your data.
