Form
A form on your website (or Typeform, Tally…) that lands in the Inbox as a channel, with a token-protected URL, antispam and replies by email or WhatsApp.
Updated:
The Form channel takes submissions from a form on your own website (or a tool like Typeform or Tally) and turns them into Inbox conversations: they arrive with name, email, phone and message, and you reply from there, like any conversation.
Turning it on, step by step
- Sign in as the owner, go to Channels → Form and tap Activate channel.
- You get a public URL with a secret token: that is where your form posts. The panel also gives you a simple HTML snippet, with no dependencies, ready to paste into your site.
- Optional — Allowed sites: restrict where submissions may come from, one domain per line (with
https://, no paths or wildcards, up to 10). Empty: submissions are accepted from any site. - Optional — Antispam verification: if the platform has the Cloudflare Turnstile keys, turn on the verification to block bots server-side.
- Optional — Field mapping: if your form uses different field names, map each one to its data point (name, email, phone, subject, message). Any other fields are stored as extra data of the submission.
How you reply
Each submission appears in the Inbox as a new conversation, in the project's language. You reply by email or WhatsApp, depending on which channels you have connected and the details the sender left:
- With an email or phone at hand, you reply straight from the Inbox.
- If there is no way to reply, the submission still shows in the Inbox, marked as no reply available.
Before publishing the form, you can send a test submission from the channel itself and see it in the Inbox with a test badge.
The token
The URL carries a token that authenticates submissions. If it leaks or you want to change it, tap Rotate token: the current URL stops working immediately and you need to update the published forms. Turning the channel off stops new submissions; what was received is kept.
The fiuit.com contact page is an example of this channel: what you write there lands straight in the Fiuit team's Inbox.
