Data deletion

Preliminary version, under legal review. Details not yet defined appear as [pending] and will be completed before the final version.

This page explains how to request deletion of the personal data Fiuit processed through Instagram, WhatsApp or Telegram when you wrote to a business that uses Fiuit. It complements the privacy policy.

What data can be deleted

The data we process from your conversations with the business: your identifier on the channel (for example, your Instagram IGSID or your phone number), the username or name the channel shows, the text of your messages and the bookings linked to that data.

How to request it

  1. Email hola@fiuit.com from an address you can access, with the subject "Data deletion".
  2. Tell us the channel (Instagram, WhatsApp or Telegram), your username or phone number on that channel and, if you know it, the name of the business you wrote to.
  3. For security we may ask you to confirm that the account or phone number is yours before deleting anything.

Because Fiuit acts on behalf of the business, we may forward your request to that business, which decides on its own records. You can also ask it directly.

What happens next

We confirm receipt and tell you the outcome at the same address. Response time: 30 days. We delete or unlink the messages and channel identifiers; some audit, accounting or backup records may be kept as long as the law requires, and we do not promise to delete copies under the control of Meta, Telegram or other providers. If we refuse part of the request, we explain why.

From Instagram

You can also remove Fiuit's access from Instagram: Settings and activity → Websites and apps, then remove the app. That stops new messages, but deleting data already stored requires the request described above.
